Splendid Growth-RX

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I was sitting on my couch thinking about how much better I felt about my body and about myself when I was in my twenties. I enjoyed physical exercise, and you could tell by looking at what a toned body I had. I never had any trouble picking up women when I was younger, and I may not have been a total hunk, but I definitely got some looks from some very beautiful women. Whenever I went to a gym or a beach, I’d always have women looking me over, and I used to love that feeling of getting that attention and feeling the rush of exercising hard.
When I saw myself in the mirror, I knew that I didn’t have it anymore, even though I don’t consider it to be all that long ago when I was in top shape. It occurred to me that now I was spending time sitting on my sofa instead of being out exercising, and it was a no-brainer that I wasn’t going to pick up any women just lounging around my living room. The scary thing was, I was so out of shape that I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to be sized up by a woman anymore. It was like I was in a Twilight Zone episode where it was the same me, but I had gotten transported into a different body.
Then a friend informed me about this supplement he was taking, it was called Growth Rx, and he told me to go online and look up some splendid Growth RX reviews. I just came out and asked him if this stuff was the reason that his muscle tone had changed so dramatically over the past couple of months, and he said, yes. I decided that it made sense to look into.
Am I ever glad I did. There was a lot of information about Growth-Rx, and I combed through every line of it. The testimonials were quite impressive, and that made me check out the ingredients, too. I don’t like to pour things into my body that aren’t made of natural ingredients, but this stuff was made of natural ingredients, so I was ok there. Then I started reading about the results – increasing muscle mass, reducing body fat, helping recovery, and raising energy levels – and I decided that it was time for me to try it out.
It really had an awesome impact on me. I can put on pants and shorts that have been sitting in my closet unworn for more years than I care to think about. The muscles in my arms and legs quickly became more defined. I don’t know if it was because of how the product aided recovery times, or if it was the fact that my energy level was so high, but I could work out a lot harder than I had been before. I had dreamed so often of what it would be like to have the body that I did when I was twenty, and now I was getting to where that was actually beginning to happen. I didn’t just feel better physically, either; I was able to feel stronger and more stable emotionally as well, because I knew that I was doing the right thing for my body.
It obviously made me feel like a million dollars when I was out buying some food and a hot young lady stopped and stared at me for several seconds. I just smiled to myself and let her look. With Growth Rx helping me meet my fitness goals, I knew that wouldn’t be the last time that some young, buxom brunette would be checking me out. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with sitting on the sofa and taking it easy; I’m just glad that I won’t be doing it by myself anymore.

Splendid hankerchief!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

This was my first marriage and I wanted to plan the perfect wedding shower. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. She agreed and was excited as much as I was. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. I have planned showers before and I knew my shower would turn out awesome. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found a hall close by my home. We started looking on the web for decorations and gifts. We found a lot of themed wedding shower ideas that were so adorable. I bought all my decorations and gifts for the shower. Our next step was to find shower favors. There was a big variety to choose from. I took a lot of time looking because of all the awesome shower favors. When I came across a splendid handkerchief, I knew that is what I wanted my guests to get as a gift. This made me decide that I wanted one for myself on my wedding day. I saw a the handkerchief that was awesome. I was positive that my family and friends would like the men’s handkerchiefs. I decided to go with a lace handkerchief as a wedding favor for all my guests.
Everything was falling into place. We booked the hall and purchased the decorations, gifts, and wedding favors. I needed to figure out what kind of food I was going to have at my shower. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. While looking through my recipes, I came across some of the best dishes, that I know me and my sister could prepare. We placed the order for the cake at a bakery near us. All the planning was done. I picked out these gorgeous invitations and mailed them. All we needed to now is wait patiently for the day of the shower.
It was the day of the shower and I and my sister went to the hall early to set the tables and decorate. It did not take long to decorate the hall. As soon as we finished, we were amazed how great the room looked. I even took pictures to remember how it looked. We decorated the tables with a centerpiece and put the cake on the food table. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. The minute you saw the room, you would say how beautiful it looked.
We all had an excellent time with my family and friends. We all enjoyed each other’s company. We ate and played games. My guests talked about how much they enjoyed getting a handkerchief. It was amazing to see how many gifts I did get. I did not want my shower to end, because I had so much fun and so did my guests.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. It made me glad that I chose a handkerchief for my wedding favor. This day turned out so good and will be remembered for a life time. I am glad that my sister was so helpful in planning the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] That is the reason she is my maid of honor.

Splendid Hearts Wedding Favors!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

You can definitely call their wedding romantic with all the heart wedding accessories they had for decoration. Everything that had anything to do with the wedding had a heart design, the invites and gifts and everything. The RSVP info was printed on the attractive heart favors, which each had a pair silver hearts on their covers. They were really quite beautiful. Two wee hearts hung from their unity candle, which was flanked by taper candles sitting in very fine-looking holders. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. They even had hearts hung on the end of each pew with the tulle draping from row to row. The fact that they tied the knot on Valentine’s Day no doubt had something to do with the whole hearts idea. It was an incredible wedding, highlighted by a bride that was so lovely, she could have been an angel.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. She really did do a bang up job on table décor They had their names and the date of the wedding inscribed on the wine glasses, and the champagne flutes were crystal. For the bride and groom, there were a couple of very richly adorned champagne glasses. They had a silver double hearts wedding insignia embossed on them, very similar to the hearts wedding invitation they sent out.
They had a five-layer hearts wedding cake that was really yummy. It looked as good as it tasted. They had a personalized wedding cake topper that was a spitting image of the two of them; come to think of it, this may have been the only item in the whole wedding that wasn’t a heart. The wedding cake topper was special, the only one of that type I’ve ever been exposed to. She picked it out on the web; in fact, it was the same site she purchased her other supplies and things for the wedding from. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. That’s something they’re going to enjoy looking at for many, many years.
We had a splendid wedding heart, in fact they gave us two thank you gifts. One gift was an adorable votive candle holder, and the other was a package of coffee, decorated differently for the ladies versus the men, that came with a heart-shaped utensil to scoop the coffee with. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. In my opinion, the wedding cake topper took the cake, so to speak. It would be great if they did that for birthdays and other ocassions too. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. They couldn’t have put it together any better, and all of the people who went had a smashing time there. Their Mexico honeymoon is probably even more fun than the wedding was. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it, and checking out the photos when they get back. From the pictures on the pamphlets she had, it looks like a beautiful place to visit.

Splendid duck wedding favors

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I associated babies with childhood, and I associate childhood with Ernie singing ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One’ on Sesame Street. It seemed like a longshot, but I checked to see if there were any duck wedding favors available anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a lot simpler to put together such a baby shower than I anticipated it would be, especially with all of the outstanding input I gleaned from suring the Internet. There are a lot of adorable little duck favors and decorations to be found on the internet for baby showers and even toddler birthday parties.
I put tables that could seat four apiece in my basement rec room since that was plenty big enough for this size crowd. I put baby shower gifts in one corner, and then at the opposite end of the den was a table with appetizers, drinks, deserts, and a layered cake in the form of a rubber ducky and the words baby girl written on it. There were posters of Donald and Daisy Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and the rest of the Disney cast all over the place, and the Daisy Duck one was huge.
I got pink picture frames with tiny ducks on the edges to use a place card holders for each person’s spot at a table. The punch bowl had ducks painted all over it, as did the plates, napkins, glasses, and favor candles that each guest received as a gift. I went to a department store and purchased a little duck shaped baby bathtub and placed a glass punch bowl inside. It was really kind of cute. I also bought duck molds and filled them with yellow colored water for duck shaped ice cubes. I took my duck idea to great extremes.
On the world wide web, I found a bunch of great ideas, and that’s pretty much where I found everything I needed, but I did get a few recommendations from some of the people at my school. On the Internet is where I found duck shower favors, such as the splendid duck favor bookmarkers I found, and the duck candles, too. The people at the shower thought they were to die for, and they got handed out to the winners of the games we did at the shower as well.
I put some rubber duckies in a large, square-shaped, makeshift tub that I filled with water before anyone got to the shower yet. Underneath every rubber duck, I wrote a number, and the each guest plucked one out of the water as they arrived. A couple of hours into the shower, I picked a number out of a jar, and the person with that numbered duck received an award. We also did the old game where you try to guess which person belongs to which baby picture. The guests were told in advance to take a baby picture of theirs to the shower with them, and then we put them all on a board and put the board in the front of the room. Each guest got a chance to check out the board and see how many pictures they were able to match up with the faces of the other guests. The winner was the person who guessed right on the most of them, and they were awarded a shower favor.
We had a lot of fun, great laughs and the mother to be got some really neat gifts for her little girl. I’m so glad I found this idea for the baby shower online. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but it turned out to be a really great baby shower. Going with the whole duck genre worked out swimmingly.

Splendid ceramic wedding favors

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

There is a lot to planning a wedding and reception, but the one thing that seems to take the longest to decide, is what to get your guests as thank you gifts. You could buy something useful, like something for the house, shiny crystal thank you gifts, or possibly some beautiful ceramic wedding favors. Whatever your preference, I found out there are an awful lot of each to choose from.
I’ve even found ceramic favors for my country themed wedding ceremony and reception party. You can use just about any favor made of ceramic for almost any themed wedding you are planning. I found these little black ceramic wedding trays and tea caddys that I thought were really awesome. Some of the selection I checked out were tea lights, flower vases, and candle holders that would make awesome ceramic wedding gifts. I made wedding favor shopping the last thing on my to do list, because not only is it hard to choose the right gift, but there is just so much to choose from.
So, decorating my reception tables was the first task on hand. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. The little barbecue grills I picked out as place card holders were so cute, and I thought they would make adorable little souvenirs of our reception for our friends and family to keep. Since we were having a family cookout instead of having our party catered, I thought the little grills were a nice added touch. There were also little cowboy hats at each place setting and cowboy boot glasses for the refreshments. I chose the really lovely honey pots and dippers, with a heart on the end on their handles, as the ceramic wedding favors for our guests, instead of the tea caddy I saw earlier. I felt they worked out better for a country western theme and I really liked the way they looked. But, I came close to choosing one of the candle holders as their splendid black ceramic wedding because they were just so gorgeous. With all the great decorating accessories at my disposal, our tables had the look of a real country wedding, and the rest of the motif was perfect too.
We brought in haystacks and scattered them around the area, and hung up white lights that twinkled, all through the trees. Our wedding cake topper was not to be believed, it was figurines of a cowgirl roping her man and hauling him to the altar. Everyone seemed to get a lot of laughs out of our cake topper and we thought it was quite amusing too. There were lots of laughter at our reception, we all dance, and partied our little hearts out and had such a super time. One of the most creative and enjoyable thing we had going on, was an awesome hayride for everyone, and the kids really got a big kick out of that.
We also had nice little surprises for our wedding party people, like our bridesmaids and groomsmen for instance. I bought for the ladies in my wedding party and my fiance chose the guys gifts, which were adorable little ceramic wedding gifts for the girls and really neat looking cowboy steins for the guys. But for the little flower girl and the ring boy we bought tee shirts that had flower girl and ringboy printed on them. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I also bought a few extras for myself, like a sharp little western themed guestbook and pen, picture album and I even ordered a cowboy hat for me and my husband that said bride and groom on them. All in all, this country western themed wedding was really more than I had hoped for, it was spectacular and we all had such a great time.

Super wedding book!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. There is your bridal shower, wedding day, baby showers and so many more ocassions you want to hang on to . I keep these memories alive with my wedding books, which are some of my most special possessions. I have my girls night photo wedding book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a delightful wedding shower. We took a lot of pictures that serve as wonderful reminders of what a fabulous night that was. I have shots of all the crazy stuff we got into that night, along with some of how gorgeous-looking the décor of the party was. We really had a wild time and I’ve got super photos to prove it. Some of the exotic male dancers we saw posed for a couple of shots. They didn’t have any trouble holding our attention. I won’t soon forget my only night watching men dance like that. They may not be as famous as the Chippendale dancers, but these were more than entertaining, that’s for sure.
We got a wedding memory book along with everything else I was buying when I was preparing for our wedding. There were an awful lot of photos to fill the pages. As a matter of fact, we had so many that I bought a pair of them, and it turns out that we needed both of them. I ran out of space in the albums before the pictures were all filed. On certain pages in one of the picture album books were places for the guests we invited to write their names down. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. These books have such a look of elegance with it’s satin ribbon and gorgeous fabric. There are also refill pages available if needed, and we certainly need them.
I made sure that I had books to hold all my memories of every important event in my life so far. I don’t throw out my keepsake memory books, so I’m sure I’ll accumulate more and more. Right now, I have my bachelorette book, my wedding book and my baby shower books. My daughter will be three in a few days and my son is only one. Since we knew what we were having each time, I was able to order a pink book for her and a blue one for him. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. The baby memory books have pictures, handprints, and birth certificates stored there, too. I slipped an official invitation from the showers and wedding in each album as well. I have so many memories stored in our closet that I could probably start my own picture gallery.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. With the new video camera I just bought, it’s going to be a little different, because now I have to clear room on some shelves in the den for the videos I’ll be making. With all the videos I plan to record and all the picture albums and memory books I’ve acquired, not to mention all that I intend to aquire, I’ll probably have to make more room in other closets around the house. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These are the most precious years in a mothers life and I’m not letting anything get by me.

Super bride and groom gifts

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Be it a subdued engagement party or a more risque bachelor or bachelorette party, there are going to be some bride and groom gifts given out. You can get the future husband or wife a gift chosen from a lot of different options at these gatherings. My husband and I received some pretty awesome gift items. Of course plain old money works just fine, and that’s what our engagement party gifts consisted of for the most part, but there were a lot of more creative presents as well. We got baseball tickets, gift certificates, wedding champagne, and a lot of small things along those lines. We didn’t really expect many gifts, since gifts are optional at an engagement party, but a number of our relatives and friends got us some regardless.
At my husbands bachelor party the guys bought him some cool tee shirts that had things printed on it like, how he survived his bachelor party and one that just said groom on the front. A mug with groom on it was  groomsman gift he got, along with a sun visor and set of wine bottles that were made for a man about to get married. He also got to keep the ball and chain they made him wear all night and an inflatable woman they gave him as gag gifts. There were a few other gag groom wedding gifts too that the guys had a lot of fun presenting to him. My girlfriends gave me some lovely bride gifts, but I got my share of joke gifts along with them. They gave me a shimmering white satin purse with a clasp made of crystal on it and a ribbon on top to boot. Inside the bag they had put little gifts like a manicure set, a girls night out tee shirt, a bride to be brooch and a few little necessities a girl likes to have with her. But I think my favorite little novelty bride gift was a throw pillow that said ‘tonight’ on one side, and ‘not tonight’ on the other. What a crazy present that was, and I know I’ll have a lot of fun using that .
We didn’t get any joke bride and groom wedding gifts on our wedding day. We got about three toasters, four blenders and lots of waffle irons, but that is to be expected when you have so many people attending your wedding. We filled out a bridal registry and we received a food processor and china from that, along with some other things I had written down. My husband just adored the billards table and bar set that his parents gave us, and I know we will get a lot of use out of that. The plane tickets to get to the Greek Isles for our honeymoon came from my folks. We received a lot of wonderful gifts on our wedding day from our loving families and fantastic friends.
They are what helped to make our day so special, just being there to share it with us, meant the world to both of us. We were able to spend our engagement party, wedding, and reception with them, and we are so glad about that. It’s good to know you have so many people that care this much about you and are there for you during the good times and the bad. Having those crazy friends that go all out to give you the best girls night out party or a super cool bachelor party, means a lot too. There is never a dull moment in our lives with the super great friends we have. The magnitude of our gratefulness for having them as friends, along with the most fantastic families, just cannot be expressed in something as small as a thank you note.

Super Party Invitations

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. The first priority was finding a engagement party invitation.  I’m one of those women that really doesn’t like shopping where I have to fight the crowds, or wait in line for price checks, so I decided to go online and see what I could come up with for the bridal shower. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. Some of the deals were just incredible. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. They had all kinds of invitation cards, from general party invitations to specific ones, like wedding party invitations.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
There were plenty of proposals for bridal shower games on the web as well. If you want to see something humorous, try playing ‘Take It Off,” a game where you have to but a bag on your head and then, when the person running the game tells you to take off one piece of clothing, you have to take one off – and it’s astonishing how many women don’t have it come to mind that they ought to take off the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

Super mikasa crystal

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

The wedding I went to last week was all set up with fantastic mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. They had mikasa wedding favors and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. What excellent taste the bride has in decorating a wedding and reception tables. The tables just shined with lustre and elegance with all the different mikasa accessories.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. The exquisite pillar candles she had for her centerpieces were so lovely with the floral ring around them. They gave out fantastic party favors for everyone at the reception. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. The beautiful mikasa crystal was packaged in such lovely favor boxes with nice little thank you hang tags attached.
Their wedding cake was another spectacular sight to behold with five layers of luscious chocolate with chocolate cream cheese in between each layer. She topped the wedding cake with a very exceptional wedding cake topper. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It looked just like them. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
The garter toss was really a riot, I laughed so hard. All those single men gathered together with a growing excitement while they watched the groom remove the leg garter from his bride. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. The funniest part though, is that the winner of the garter toss was a widower in his 70’s that didn’t even want to participate in the toss. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the best man said his speech and we toasted the bride and groom, it was time for their first dance together as man and wife. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. The floor quickly filled up with couples right after the wedding couple finished their first dance. My poor feet suffered the consequences of my all night dancing.
Then it was time for the happy couple to leave the reception and begin their honeymoon, so everyone was yelling good bye and good luck. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. We all stay for quite a while after the bride and groom left and partied ourselves into exhaustion.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. I was surprised to receive a thank you so soon. I did manage to get the information on the website that she ordered everything for the mikasa wedding favor from and the unique wedding cake topper too. I’m ordering what I need for my parents anniversary wedding party today.

Super jewelry box

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

Jewelry boxes sure are’t what they used to be; now, there are watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, and about any other kind of specialized jewelry box you can think of. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. My sister bought a few for her and her bridesmaids and the party guests. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. No matter what look your going for at your wedding, a specific theme or a more customary look, you’ll find loads of suggestions there. My daughter and son in law chose to have a fairy tale themed wedding, with all the trimmings. They pulled it off in stunning fashion, her with long flowing veil and him with his extravagant tuxedo. It was a picturesque wedding. After the ceremony was over my daughter and son in law left the church in grand style with a horse drawn buggy and a driver dressed in a top hat and tails.
At the reception, tulle with tiny white lights was draped in a circle and there were elegant flower vases placed everywhere around the room. An arch with green plants and red and white roses climbing up an arch stood behind the newlyweds’ table, while the wedding guests had at their tables an exquisite bouquet of flowers with sparkles that shimmered silver. For place card holders she found these silver dove tea light holders that really added glimmer to her settings. The small jewelry boxes each woman at the wedding got as a favor had crystals and flowers beautifully interwoven in their design. For the men in attendance, a key chain with a frog prince on it was given to them as a wedding favor. The girls that were in the wedding party got gorgeous wooden, silver plated cheap jewelry boxes that had black velvet lining. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The thank you gift my daughter gave the girls was very warmly received. The wholesale jewelry box I saw looked like an extremely expensive jewelry box! The men each got a commemorative inscription in a small plaque and a set of wine related gifts. I thought that was pretty unique for a thank you gift.
The three-layered wedding cake they had was topped in debounair fashion with a small castle as the wedding cake topper. She even found a cake knife set that matched up with her storybook theme and champagne flutes to go with it. The amount of money she saved was staggering considering that she didn’t skimp on quality. As mother and father of the bride, we felt obligated to cover the cost of the wedding, but they were adamant about not accepting our assistance.
The first dance for the bride and groom was like something in a movie, and it was very emotional for me. It was as if I were watching the real prince and princess in the Cinderella story dancing together. The guys got so rowdy trying to catch the garter, during the garter toss, that they had me laughing to no end. My daughter’s wedding day was as magical as she imagined it would be, and the whole thing was so special. They are off on their honeymoon, and I’m certain that it will be every bit as fantastic as the wedding. She promised to tell me all about the great places they went to while on their honeymoon, as soon as she gets home.
