The key to Wedding Guest Books!!
Thursday, April 16th, 2009There wasn’t a bridal shop or accessories store I hadn’t checked for my wedding album and wedding guest book. I was really getting tired of searching and coming up empty handed. A friend suggested that I take a look at the wedding accessories available online. So, I took her suggestion and tried the internet. And guess what? They not only had the wedding guest book I wanted for my themed wedding, but a lot of other accessories too.
It was the perfect fairy tale guestbook for our wedding. There was even a beautiful pen and holder that went with our theme too. There was also lots of storybook ideas and the perfect wedding album for our wedding photos. I had no idea there were so many great ideas for wedding décor and such a big selection of accessories available. We found so many accessories for our flower girl, ring boy and his groomsmen and best man, and I found the nicest items for my bridemaids too.
I’m so glad I didn’t have to go store to store looking for these accessories. But, of course, there was the baker, caterer, photographer and the music to take car of. I got almost every accessory I needed for our wedding and reception online, and the wedding attire, of course, we had to go to shops for. The accessories for our wedding, like the gorgeous guest book wedding items, didn’t cost us as much as I thought it would. We got a discount on quite a few of our wedding accessories and decorations. When you have a limited amount of money to spend on your wedding, that really helps a couple that’s just getting started.
I spent a lot of time going over all the fantastic wedding favor ideas they had for my reception. I wanted only the best wedding favors for our guests, after all these are our friends and family. The job of choosing favors was divided between me and my fiance, I bought for the girls and he bought for the men. That seemed fair, and it worked out nicely too. I chose these lovely little wedding carriage candles for each of the ladies, that went perfectly with a storybook wedding. My fiance, being a man, chose some pretty cool shot glasses for the guys, even though it didn’t go with the theme, it was something they all liked.
I almost forgot to tell you, I ordered two guest books for our wedding. One was strictly for the ceremony, and the other were guest books. I wanted to look back on our reception and remember the guests that were able to hang around to celebrate with us. And what a celebration it was! We must have danced and partied half the night. I really lucked out when I bought the picture album for our wedding, with it’s scrapbooking pages and special place for my little keepsakes, it held on to a lot of memories. It held a lot of little souvenirs of our wedding, like an invitation, wedding napkin and other memorabilia.
We were having such a wonderful time at the reception, we almost hated to leave, but we had a plane to catch for our honeymoon. Some of our friends and family wished us well, gave their congratulations and thanked us for inviting them to our reception. We had such a wonderful time with our friends and family, I certainly hope they did too.
My new, wonderful husband didn’t tell me where we were going for our honeymoon. I was blown away when we pulled up to the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando for seven fantastic days. He thought a fairytale wedding deserved a fairytale honeymoon. I could hardly wait to get all the pictures developed and into my special album I bought just for our honeymoon photos.
