Nice wedding knife and server

Monday, April 27th, 2009

I looked at a lot of wedding options before I decided I wanted to have a themed wedding and reception. Now the decision was which theme to use. It sounded like a lot of fun to have a country western themed wedding. I even considered having a barn dance for our reception party. A beach wedding sounded nice for our summer wedding. We could have a great time, swimming, partying on shore and watching a gorgeous sunset in the background. There were a lot of themed weddings and receptions to consider. You could find anything you needed online for a themed wedding from wedding décor to a beautiful wedding server. Even though I found a lot of themed wedding ideas I liked, I chose the fantastic looking fairytale theme.

Once I estabished that I was going with the storybook idea, I started looking for accessories and supplies. Of course the very first thing to do is get the invitations for our friends and family. Then I started choosing all of our decorations and other wedding accessories. I wanted a wedding fit for Cinderella. First I needed to get the decorations I wanted to use in the church. I chose some lovely tulle swags to be draped from pew to pew with beautiful satin bows at the end of each row. There were flowers in tall vases placed around the altar and taper candles in fairy tale themed candle holders on each side of our beautiful unity candle.

As our guests entered the church they signed their names in our fairytale themed guestbook, which was absolutely gorgeous. Our fairytale wedding ceremony was everything I had hoped for and more. The flower girl was so cute, and the ring boy looked very handsome as they perfectly performed their duties at the ceremony. After the ceremony we didn’t leave in a limo, we left the church in a horse drawn carriage the same way Cinderella and Prince Charming did in the fairytale.

The reception hall was really beautiful with all the lovely flowers everywhere and the lovely tables all set up with crystal and silver. Crystal champagne flutes with stems decorated with a fairytale design was placed on all the tables. I found these very exquisite castles to use as place card holders on the reception tables. I also got the idea to purchase little carriage favor boxes and fill them with candies for each guest at their tables.

Despite the beauty of our reception tables, I think the bride and groom table was definitely the center of attention. It had all the elegance of a king and queen. Our cake of five gorgeous tiers, with a fairytale wedding topper, sat at the end of our wedding table on a smaller table. While shopping for our other reception supplies I found the perfect fairytale cake topper there too. I saw a gorgeous wedding knife in a storybook theme with a very decorative handle. The wedding knife and server was so lovely, I wanted to buy more things that matched! Our wedding cake and topper were complimented by the lovely knife set next to it.

After we were toasted with our lovely crystal champagne flutes, it was time for the bride and groom to have their first dance together as man and wife. We chose our favorite song, “I Swear” by all for one, as our first bride and groom dance. Once we were done with our wedding dance, the other couples joined us on the dance floor. There were so many photographs taken at the wedding and reception, I’m so glad I bought my fairytale wedding album for all these memories. Just before we left for our honeymoon, some of the guests thanked us for the lovely fairytale wedding favors we gave them.

With the ceremony and reception party turning out as great as it did, I know you can have your favorite fairytale come true.
